uTest, a Southborough, MA-based software testing company, has completed a $17m Series D funding.
The round was led by QuestMark Partners, with participation from previous investors Scale Venture Partners, Longworth Venture Partners, Egan-Managed Capital and Mesco Ltd.
This brings the company’s total funding to more than $37m since 2007.
The company intends to use the funding to open new offices in Seattle, Los Angeles, Dallas and Chicago, develop new tools, explore M&A opportunities, recruit additional specialized experts including security testers, linguists and performance engineers as well as expand its testing platform and APIs for third-party developers.
In conjunction with the funding, QuestMark Partner, Tim Krongard, will be joining uTest’s Board of Directors.
