Clinithink, a London, U.K.-based specialist in natural language processing of medical transcription and other textual materials, has received a second investment of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by Vanguard Atlantic Ltd.
Led by CEO Dr Chris Tackaberry, MD, the company supplies server and cloud-based tools that convert free-form medical text into fully-structured data streams, which can be used by applications and analytical tools that demand structured inputs.
Cinithink’s Clix software uses natural language processing and proprietary post-processing algorithms to construct fully-coded ICD-9, ICD-10, and SNOMED strings.
The company also has offices in NYC and Cardiff, Wales, UK.
