UK-based venture capital provider Mercia Fund Management has launched Mercia Growth Fund, a hybrid Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and Seed EIS (SEIS) vehicle.
Led by Managing Director Dr. Mark Payton, Mercia Fund Management provides unquoted and cash generative UK-based companies with early stage, expansion and development capital.
The Mercia Growth Fund closes on 31st October 2012, but may close sooner if the investment target is reached. It offers professional investors, UK wealth managers and UK family offices with advantages, including income tax relief for SEIS investment, income tax relief for EIS investment, capital gains tax deferral, tax free capital gain, exemption from inheritance tax after two years, and substantial loss relief.
