-

AdMobius, a San Mateo, Calif.-based provider of mobile audience targeting solutions, has launched with a $5m Series A funding.

The round was led by Opus Capital and Storm Ventures.

In conjunction with the investment, Bob Borchers, general partner of Opus Capital and Sanjay Subhedar, managing director of Storm Ventures will join the company’s board of directors.

Founded by Quattro Wireless and Apple iAd alumni Dan Grigorovici, CEO, Ray Duong and Omar Abdala, AdMobius provides an Audience Management Platform that aggregates mobile data from publishers, secondary sources such as ad networks, and third-party data vendors to build target consumer segments, enabling mobile publishers and advertisers to discover and target relevant audiences at scale for the first time, and to improve the performance and reach of ad campaigns.
Currently, the company’s platform can build consumer segments reaching 65 percent of iPhone users and 91 percent of iPad users globally.
