FireHost, a secure cloud hosting company, has raised $10m in Series C funding.
Backers include existing investors The Stephens Group, LLC, and angel investors.
The company intends to use the funding to expand into more countries beyond the U.S. and Europe, where it has operations in Dallas, Phoenix, London and Amsterdam, as well as to build out infrastructure and new services.
Launched in 2009 and led by Chris Drake, CEO, FireHost focuses on protecting companies’ sensitive data and brand reputations with an architecture built for security, scalability and performance. Customers include some of the largest companies in the world as well as many fast growing eCommerce, SaaS and healthcare IT providers.
