According to Spanish sources, Oonair, a Barcelona-based video technology startup, raised 600k in funding.
Backers included existing investors Highgrowth Partners and BCN Emprèn, the company’s founders, as well as new investors Venturcap and Telegraph Hillgroup. The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) provided a long term loan.
Led by Rafa Terradas, President, Rama Aysola, Chief Executive Officer, and Iván Zaguirre, Chief Technical Officer, Oonair provides online shops across the world with web and mobile peer 2 peer video communication tools & solutions. The company’s new Share&Buy provides a way to share content from each e-commerce site via video chat by accessing the buyer’s contact list on Facebook or other social networks.
Oonair intends to use the capital to roll out its Share&Buy.
The company also has offices in San Francisco.
