HiringBoss, a Singapore-based human resources and eRecruiting software firm, completed a $5m Series A financing.
The investment was made by venture capital and private equity firm JAFCO, which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The company intends to use the capital to accelerate R&D, product development and increase their regional sales and local support mechanisms.
Launched in 2011 and led by CEO Bernie Schiemer, HiringBoss provides businesses of all sizes with HR technology and Talent Management solutions. Clients spans a range of industries such as Government, Engineering, Manufacturing and Pharmaceuticals and include the Singapore Tourism Board, Mitsubishi Fuso, Yellow Pages and Canon.
The company, which currently has offices in Singapore, Japan, Vietnam and Indonesia, plans to expand into a further 5 Asian countries and is poised to launch 2 major new products by June of 2013: HrBoss, a talent gateway solution, which features payroll, leave management, employee performance, and training records tools, and StaffingBoss, a solution for staffing and recruiting firms.
