FireHost, a Dallas, TX-based cloud hosting company, raised $12m in Series D funding.
The round was led by The Stephens Group, LLC.
The company intends to use the capital to expand its market presence in the enterprise market, develop new enterprise-grade solutions including differentiated security, compliance, performance and managed services.
Led by Chris Drake, Founder and CEO, FireHost protects critical applications and data for large businesses worldwide with infrastructure built for security and performance. With locations in the U.S. and Europe, (Dallas, Phoenix, London and Amsterdam) FireHost customers span more than 30 countries.
Customers include Whole Foods, Kaiser Permanente and Casio, among others.
