AdEspresso, a Milan, Italy-based provider of a SaaS platform to manage and optimize Facebook Ads for SMBs and media agencies, raised $500k in seed funding.
According to TechCrunch, backers included 500 Startups, Atlantic Capital Partners, and angels Richard Chen and Armando Biondi (Pick1), among others.
The company, which recently joined Mountain View, CA-based 500 Startups accelerator (read here), will use the funds to continue to expand operations and scale the development team. They plan to move the sales and marketing base in Silicon Valley while keeping the development headquarters in Italy.
Led by CEO Massimo Chieruzzi, AdEspresso provides startups, merchants and small agencies with tools to create, analyze and optimize Facebook Ads. The solution allows users to split test every aspect of their campaigns, create Facebook Ads, test pictures, texts and landing pages.
Analytic tools offer insights to optimize campaigns.
Clients already include Pirelli, Plasmon, Gruppo24Ore, Heinz, among others.
