Mavenlink, an Irvine, CA-based a Growth Management software company, received $7m investment from Carrick Capital Partners.
In conjunction with the funding, Jim Madden, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Carrick Capital Partners, will join Mavenlink’s board, and will be joined by Steve Unterberger, CTO of Carrick Capital Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its expansion.
Led by Ray Grainger, CEO and Founder, Mavenlink provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) business that provides project management and project accounting offerings for small- to medium-sized businesses and divisions of larger enterprises. The company, which was founded in 2008 and launched its first general product in January 2010, offers an online environment to collaborate with clients and colleagues in real-time and partners with companies such as Google, Microsoft, Intuit and NetSuite.
