Jobyourlife, a Cagliari and Milan, Italy-based recruiting marketplace and platform, raised €500k in funding.
Four unnamed angels (coming from the insurance, banking and private equity sectors) made the investment, which was closed in September 2013 but disclosed recently.
Led by Andrea De Spirt (CEO and Founder), Lorenzo Mecocci (COO) and Pietro Stracquadanio (CTO), Jobyourlife operates a web-based recruiting platform that geo-localize professional curricula to allow candidates to look for a job in their area. They can create a cv based on their experiences, skills, passions. According to local reports (read here), the solution is used by McDonald’s, Gruppo Coin, Accenture, Greenpeace, Zara, and others.
De Spirt told me that the company, which is incubated in PoliHub (Fondazione Politecnico – Milan), is using the funds to improve the platform, expand commercial channels to increase adoption as well as to develop two new products.
