Cabify, a Madrid, Spain-based on-demand high-end car service, closed a $4m financing round (approximately €3.17m).
Backers included Seaya Ventures and Black Vine.
The company, which has now raised $16m in total, intends to use the funds to expand in Latin America.
Led by Juan de Antonio, Cabify allows users to request lite, executive, luxury, group, or taxi vehicles via an app, track the car as it approaches the pick-up location and communicate with the driver.
The customer can pay by credit card or Paypal.
The service is available in Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga and La Coruña (Spain), Lima (Peru), Mexico City (Mexico) and Santiago (Chile) and expects to open in Colombia.
