Farm Hill Raises $1M in Seed Funding

farmhillAccording to reports, Farm Hill (formerly Kincao), a Redwood City, California-based healthy meal delivery startup, raised $1m in seed funding.

The round was led by Eagle Cliff Partners with participation from Liberty City Ventures and Stanford StartX Fund and other funds and angels.

The company is using the funds to hire new people and expand operations.

Co-founded by Mark Wittman and Marc Manara, Farm Hill prepares healthy food anf delivers it to customers. The company use only whole ingredients – fresh vegetables and fruits, whole grains, sustainably-raised meats – and never added sugars or refined flours.
Currently present in Palo Alto, Stanford campus, Redwood City, Campbell, Los Gatos and San Jose, Farm Hill is serving more that 1400 meals per week, which are priced between $10 and $15 dollars.
