Docebo, a Milan, Italy-based provider of a SaaS enterprise E-Learning platform, raised $3m in equity funding.
Daniel Klass’ Klass Capital, a Toronto, Canada-based growth equity firm, made the investment.
The company, which was originally funded by a Italian venture capital firm Principia SGR (read here), intends to use the funds to accelerate its North American expansion and continue to develop its e-Learning ecosystem.
Led by Claudio Erba, CEO, Docebo (Latin for “I will teach”) provides a SaaS Corporate Learning Management System (LMS) that enables organizations of all sizes to plan, deliver, track and certify online and classroom training activities. The solution, which has been ranked in the world’s Top 10 for SaaS E-Learning solutions providers, and in the Top 3 for B2B LMSs, is available in over 30 languages.
The company, which also has offices in the United States (led by Alessio Artuffo, COO for Docebo North America) and Dubai, has over 800 B2B clients in over 80 countries worldwide (including Bloomberg Institute, Thomson Reuters, FreshBooks, Autodesk amongst others).
