Unify Square, a Bellevue, Washington-based solutions provider for Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business, raised $8.2m in Series B funding.
Backers included Microsoft and several former executives from Yahoo, IBM and Ariba, as well as Geoff Baldwin, the Chairman of the board of Unify Square.
The company intends to use the funds to expand global adoption of their professional services.
Led by Sonu Aggarwal, CEO, Unify Square provides software, services, and support for Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business. The company delivers on premise and SaaS based operational software, a full range of professional services from planning to deployment and adoption, and a 24/7 support offering. Its services have been built for Microsoft Lync enabling IT teams to plan, deploy, monitor and manage end-to-end service availability, voice quality, provisioning and user satisfaction.
Customers include Unilever, Deutsche Telekom and Microsoft IT.
In addition to the funding, Unify Square and Microsoft have also signed a partnership to serve global enterprises which aim to deploy and maintain Lync/Skype for Business environment, to strengthen enhanced support capabilities and its channel presence among large systems integrators and other Microsoft ecosystem partners.
