Zirx, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of on-demand valet and related car services, closed a $30m Series B financing.
The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from existing investors Norwest Venture Partners and Trinity Ventures.
The company, which has now raised $36.4m in total, intends to use the funds to accelerate its expansion efforts into new markets and continue to develop the service and platform.
Founded in 2014 by Sean Behr, Zirx provides a mobile app for consumers to indicate their location and access to an agent to park their car. While parked, via the app, users can receive additional services including a gas fill-up, a car wash, etc. When ready to leave, the car can be delivered to a requested location. The company, which currently operates in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Washington, D.C., recently introduced ZIRX Care, a new service offering that includes oil changes, tire rotations, factory maintenance, etc.
