Front Row Education Raises $5.3M in Series A Funding

logo-front-rowFront Row Education Inc., a San Francisco, CA-based math education program provider for K-8 students, raised $5.3m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Amasia with participation from Harrison Metal and Baseline Ventures.

The company, which has raised $6.6m in total, intends to use the funds to expand operations.

Launched in 2013 by Sidharth Kakkar and Alex Kurilin, Front Row Education provides an adaptive, gamified, and data-driven math education program for K-8 students. The program sends teachers feedback through a dashboard that provides details on exactly how their class is doing and what to do to adjust students’ needs in real time.
Today, Front Row is used in over 20 countries, including 1 in 5 elementary and middle schools across the US.
