Filo (which stands for “FInd & LOcate what you care about”), a Rome, Italy-based startup that has developed a device allowing people to track their objects, raised €500k in venture capital funding.
Backers included listed vc firm LVenture Group, which invested €100k, and unnamed business angels, some of which being part of Angel Partner Group.
The company, which has been accelerated within LUISS ENLABS, will use the funds to continue to expand operations in Italya and abroad.
Led by Giorgio Sadolfo, CEO, and Lapo Ceccherelli, CCO, Roberta Alessandrini, CMO, and Stefania De Roberto, CTO, Filo has created a Bluetooth powered smart device with hardware component that allows people to track their personal objects (keys, wallet, smartphones, etc.) via an app available for Android and iOS smartphones.
