VideoAmp Raises $15M in Series A Funding

VideoAmp, a Santa Monica, CA-based screen optimization platform for the TV and video ecosystem, raised $15M in Series A funding.

The round was led by RTL Group with participation from Anthem Venture Partners, Simon Equity Partners, Third Wave Capital, Wavemaker Partners, ZenShin Capital, and new investor Startup Capital Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Rhys Noelke, senior vice president strategy, RTL Group, will also join the VideoAmp board of directors.

The company, which has raised $17.2M in total funding, intends to use the funds to accelerate development and drive adoption of its platform.

Founded in 2014 by Ross McCray, CEO, and Jay Prasad, chief business officer, VideoAmp has developed technology that enables advertisers and media owners to transact across devices. Its Screen Optimization Platform enables advertisers to plan, buy and measure deduplicated and precise audiences across linear, VOD, OTT, desktop, and mobile content.
The company has offices located in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and the Netherlands.
