AlertMedia, an Austin, Texas-based mass communication and emergency notification software provider, raised $4m in Series A-1 funding.
The round was led by Silverton Partners, with participation from ATX Seed Ventures and other current investors.
The company intends to use the funds to enter into the emergency communication market.
Led by Brian Cruver, founder and CEO, AlertMedia provides a cloud-based mass communication and emergency notification software for organizations to securely and effectively monitor threats, streamline notifications, and recover from incidents. The platform’s communication tools can be accessed from anywhere, at any time, using any device.
Customers includes organizations in manufacturing, telecom, healthcare, business services, transportation, energy, government, financial services, real estate, and education sectors to protect their workers, automate operations, and mitigate loss.
The customer list includes AT&T, Volkswagen, DHL, Pitney Bowes, Kellogg’s, Deluxe Corporation, Tokyo Electron, and the state of Texas.
