Andela, a global tech talent provider, raised $24M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, with participation from GV (formerly Google Ventures).
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Led by Jeremy Johnson, CEO and Co-Founder, Andela provides companies with access to global tech talent. The company identifies high-potential developers on the African continent, conduct courses to allow them to grow their skills and pair them with companies as full-time, distributed team members.
Today, Andela developers are already building products for Google, Facebook and IBM, as well as dozens of fast-growing venture-backed startups.
The company, is backed by Spark Capital, Omidyar Network, Susa Ventures, Steve Case, Founder Collective, Rothenberg Ventures, Learn Capital, etc., and based in NYC, Lagos, Nairobi and San Francisco.
