Healthtech Startup Cera Raises £1.3M in Funding

cera_logoCera, a London, UK-based healthtech startup, raised £1.3m in funding.

Backers included David Buttress, Arnie Sriskandarajah, Thomas Zeltner and Tim Jackson of Lean Investments.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to continue to develop the tech platform and expand operations.

The startup aims to match patients and carers to provide help within four hours, and is launching across the UK, according to the Telegraph.

Co-founded by Ben Maruthappu, Cera operates a platform that connects patients and elderly, palliative, respite, post discharge and dementia carers and private nurses on-demand. According to the company, all of the carers and nurses on the platform are experienced and can represent Cera to provide quality services people need.
