bloomon Raises $23M in Series B Financing

rsz_bloomon-mediumbloomon, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based online flower delivery service, raised $23m (approx. €21.4m) in Series B financing.

The round was led by Fortino Capital, INKEF Capital, Partech Ventures, and angel investors.

The company, which has raised $27.4m (€25.5m) in two years, intends to use the funds to invest in growth in countries it is currently active in as well as in its IT platform.

Founded in November 2014 by Patrick Hurenkamp, Bart Troost and Koen Thijssen, bloomon is an online flower delivery service leveraging a subscription model. Customers can arrange their order online, choosing between 3 different sizes and weekly, fortnightly or monthly delivery. They can pause, change or cancel their delivery without commitment – anytime.
Strategically positioned in the Netherlands, the world’s largest flower export market, the company also operates in Germany, Belgium, Denmark, and the UK.
