Entic, a Pembroke Pines, Florida-based provider of smart building software, closed a strategic investment from Blackstone (NYSE: BX).

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth plans.

Led by Carlos Diaz, Co-Founder and CEO, Entic provides commercial building owners which software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology solutions which use real-time data analysis of major energy consuming systems to give insights into and prescriptions for improving operations.
The platform is used by companies in hospitality, healthcare, commercial office real estate and sports.
