Artemis Health, a Salt Lake City, UT-based company that offers a benefit optimization data platform for employers, received $16m in Series B funding.
The round was led by F-Prime Capital (the venture capital funds of FMR LLC, the parent company of Fidelity Investments), with participation from previous investors Maverick Ventures and Kickstart Seed Fund. In conjunction with its funding, Artemis Health added new board member F-Prime’s Jon Lim.
The company, which has raised $26m to date, intends to use the funds to invest in thought leadership, product research & development, and key executive hires.
Led by Grant Gordon, CEO, Artemis Health has developed a platform that provides customers with actionable data on their benefits programs, opportunities and gaps, and tools to help them make decisions.
The company works with dozens of employers nationwide including Intuit, GE Appliances and TeleTech, and has analyzed more than $5.8 billion in healthcare dollars for them.
