CircleCI, a San Francisco, CA-based continuous integration and delivery platform, closed a $31m Series C round of funding.
The round was led by Top Tier Capital Partners alongside Industry Ventures and Heavybit, who joined existing investors Scale Venture Partners, Baseline Ventures, Harrison Metal, and DFJ Ventures.
The company, which had raised a total of $28m prior to this round, intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Founded in 2011 and led by Jim Rose, CEO, CircleCI is a platform for software innovation at scale. With intelligent automation and delivery tools, the solution is used by more than 25,000 engineering organizations worldwide, including Spotify, Facebook, Lyft, Autodesk, Adobe, Instacart, Shopify, Percolate, Blue Apron, Kickstarter, Stitch Fix, Coinbase, Zenefits, Heroku, Udemy, Docker, and many others, to reduce the time from idea to execution.
The company has a total workforce of more than 120 employees.
