Front App, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a shared inbox for teams, raised $66m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Sequoia Capital with participation from DFJ. In conjunction with the funding, Bryan Schreier, a partner at Sequoia Capital, joined Front App’s board of directors.
The company, which has raised $79m since 2013, intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations globally, improve the product and accelerate business growth.
Led by Mathilde Collin, CEO & Co-founder, and Laurent Perrin, CTO and co-founder, Front App gives teams the opportunity to bring all their communication channels like email, live chat, social media, SMS, and voice, and more than 40 other business apps like Salesforce and JIRA into a single collaborative platform to manage all their conversations and workflows. This gives them more visibility and context to make smart decisions — for example, they can see every past conversation with a customer, have internal discussions with teammates, and access data in their CRM, without ever leaving their inbox.
The company has a team of 52 in San Francisco and a newly opened office in Paris. It currently has 2,500 businesses of all sizes and industries using shared inboxes in Front.
