Device42 Secures $34M in Funding

device42Device42, a New Haven, Conn.-based provider of software that automatically and agentlessly discovers the entire IT infrastructure, raised $34m in funding.

The backers were not disclosed. In connection with the transaction, Dan Phillips, former CEO and Chairman of the Board of CloudHealth Technologies, and Darren Battistoni, a Managing Director at Charlesbank Capital Partners, will be joining Device42’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow its solutions.

Led by Raj Jalan, CEO, Device42 provides a software platform that gives comprehensive and current insight into any computing environment including application dependencies. The company serves customers in more than 60 countries including Global 2000 clients and Systems Integrators.
