Transposit, a San Francisco, CA-based API composition platform that allows developers to get free from the work of composing disparate APIs, raised $12.2m in series A funding.
The round was led by Sutter Hill Ventures, with participation from SignalFire and Unusual Ventures.
Founded in 2016 by former DTrace co-author and Delphix CTO Adam Leventhal, and Apple, Google, and Twitter engineering leader Tina Huang, Transposit allows developers to build API-dependent applications with a composition platform which brings the power of a relational database to the ecosystem of APIs.
The company has also launched a public beta and its API composition platform is now available to developers. Initial connectors available in beta include:
– AWS (Lambda, S3, ECR, Cloudwatch, and more)
– Google (G Suite, Analytics)
– CircleCI
– Elasticsearch
– GitHub
– Jira
– PagerDuty
– SendGrid
– Slack
– Stripe, and
– others.
