ZenSourcer Rebrands as Gem and Raises $9M in Series A

-

gemGem (FKA ZenSourcer), a San Francisco, CA-based recruiting platform that provides a single source for talent teams, raised $9M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Accel.

Launched 18 months ago by Steve Bartel, CEO, and Nick Bushak, CTO, Gem provides a recruiting platform which features Gem CRM, which enables users to collaborate on candidates, discover best practices, and never reach out to the same person twice. Companies build talent relationships at scale by hosting events and sending personal content at optimal intervals. Each touchpoint is automatically tracked, which provides visibility into the entire recruiting pipeline from reach-out to offer out. This allows recruiting leadership to track goals, forecast, and understand where hires come from.
The Gem Sourcing allows users to build lists of people to reach out to, find email addresses, and automate follow-ups.

The soluton integrates with LinkedIn, Gmail, Outlook, and every ATS.

The company has over 100 paying customers including Dropbox, Pinterest, and Slack, among others.
