AppSheet, a Seattle, WA-based no-code application platform, closed a $15m Series A funding round.
The round was led by Shasta Ventures, with participation from previous investor New Enterprise Associates (NEA).
The company intends to use the funds to enhance the platform, increase investment in customer success, expand marketing initiatives, grow its team in Seattle and create a center of machine learning excellence in Portland, Ore.
Led by Praveen Seshadri, founder and CEO, AppSheet combines a declarative no-code model with platform intelligence to allow business users to innovate and create multi-platform apps without writing any code. As more enterprise customers have started to run their businesses on AppSheet apps, the platform has evolved to provide rich end-to-end capabilities for app security, management, and IT governance.
