Algorithmia, a Seattle, WA-based provider of an AI Layer platform that automates DevOps for ML applications, raised $25m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners with participation from Madrona, Gradient Ventures, Work-Bench, Osage University Partners and Rakuten Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Rama Sekhar, a partner at Norwest, joined Algorithmia’s board of directors.
The company, , which raised a $10.5m Series A in 2017, intends to use the funds for product development, engineering talent, sales, marketing, and international expansion.
Led by Diego Oppenheimer, CEO, Algorithmia provides an AI Layer platform that automates DevOps for ML applications.
The AI Layer is already being used by the United Nations, multiple US intelligence agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and over 90,000 engineers and data scientists.
