CirrusMD, a Denver, CO-based chat-first virtual care solution, raised $15m in Series B funding.
The round, which brought total funding to date to $26m, was led by Drive Capital, Colorado Impact Fund and other prior investors.
The company intends to use the funds for product innovation and support of current and future partners.
Founded in 2012 by Chief Executive Officer Andy Altorfer and Chief Medical Officer Blake McKinney, M.D., and also led by Scott Johnson, President and COO, CirrusMD partners with health plans to deliver virtual care experiences. Members can access on-demand dialogue with a board-certified physician in seconds via web or mobile app, whenever and wherever in their day.
The company also announced a new contract with Iron Bow Technologies as a subcontractor to the United States Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) for care access and delivery for the veteran community.
