Bond Vet Raises $6M in Seed Funding

-

bond vetBond Vet, a New York-based animal health company opening tech-enabled veterinary clinics across the country, raised $6m in seed funding.

Talisman Capital Partners made the investment.

Led by female veterinarian Dr. Zay Satchu and her partners Mo Punjani and Lukas Keindl, Bond Vet is utilizing an in-house veterinary service platform and proprietary software to:

  • create an improved experience for both clients and staff;
  • build calm spaces for pets + pet owners;
  • offer access to veterinary doctors and specialists with late hours and transparent pricing; and
  • focus on the wellbeing of its care team.

Pet parents can either walk in or book an appointment through the website or mobile app.

The brand’s first clinic opened in June in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn and the second will open in the Upper East Side this fall, with plans for 10+ more clinics over the next year. The company is also launching telehealth services.
