Amdocs Buys TTS Wireless, for Approx. $50M

amdocsAmdocs (NASDAQ: DOX), a provider of software and services to communications and media companies, acquired TTS Wireless, a Pleasanton, California-based provider of mobile network engineering services, for approximately $50m in cash.

The acquisition will enable the combination of TTS Wireless’ field-proven services with the Amdocs Open 5G portfolio. This expanded offering will allow operators to accelerate and simplify deployment of 5G networks with comprehensive network rollout solutions.

Led by Shuky Sheffer, President and Chief Executive Officer, Amdocs is a software and services provider to communications and media companies of all sizes. The company provides its set of innovative solutions by leveraging partnerships with 350 communications and media providers, and technology and distribution ties to 600 content creators. Amdocs had revenue of $4.0 billion in fiscal 2018 and has 25,000 employees, which serve customers in over 85 countries.

Led by Lin Weng, founder and Chief Executive Officer, TTS Wireless is a privately-owned provider of mobile network engineering services, specializing in network optimization, planning, and software-enabled solutions. It offers innovative products and processes for 5G rollouts, existing LTE and 3G networks to improve network quality and the wireless customer experience.
