Two Chairs, a San Francisco, CA-based mental health company, raised $21M in Series B funding.
The round, which brought total funding raised to date to $31m, was led by Amplo, with participation from Maveron and Goldcrest.
The company intends to use the funds to:
(1) Deepen investment in technology that powers its system,
(2) Accelerate its clinic growth, and
(3) Continue building its team.
Led by Alex Katz, CEO and Founder, Two Chairs provides in-person psychotherapy at clinics across the Bay Area.
The company currently operates mental health clinics in downtown San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose, which have served over two thousand clients.
The clinical offerings are currently focused primarily on individual psychotherapy and look forward to investing further in a group therapy program and launching new clinical programs, enabled by the research and experience brought by the clinical team.
Now, Two Chairs plans to expand brick-mortar clinics across the Bay Area and beyond, double-down on in-house built technology, and expand its clinical programs and offerings.
