Herow (formerly known as Connecthings), a Paris, France and New York-based mobile engagement and user context platform provider, closed a $18.6m Series B funding.
Backers included historical investors Xerys Fund, Siparex and Calao Finance.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the deployment of its new contextual engagement SaaS solution for mobile applications, beyond existing markets in Europe and the United States, opening a new office in San Francisco by the end of 2019, and beyond the continent in 2020.
Founded in 2007 by Laetitia Gazel Anthoine, CEO, Herow provides a contextual engagement platform for mobile applications. Built around everyday behaviors and powered by location intelligence, its solution allows apps to maximize mobile engagement with their users. With its SaaS platform, mobile marketers and developers can understand how, when and where their app is being used, create user segments based on real-world moments and behaviors, and improve mobile engagement through contextual notifications and in-app actions – all the while protecting personal user data and adhering to most recent GDPR and CCPA regulations.
Herow also has offices in Barcelona and San Francisco.
