Enway, a Berlin, Germany-based company that builds the next generation of cleaning services, raised €6M in seed funding.
The round was led by Redalpine with participation from Berlin Technologie Holding and a number of Silicon Valley business angels including Moving Capital, an investment club of UBER Alumni, and existing investors Atlantic Labs and b10 | Venture Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its development efforts.
Co-founded by Julian Nordt, Bo Chen and Thanuja Ambegoda, Enway is advancing a fully self-driving system designed to operate vehicles without a human driver. The vehicle can steer, brake, accelerate, respond to events and easily clean all environments efficiently. The technology platform is designed for different types of precision navigation vehicles ranging from three wheelers to large highly maneuverable trucks.
The company is initially targeting autonomous mobility for special purpose vehicles on private grounds, like warehouses, industrial facilities and private parking lots. Collaborating with traditional manufacturers, the company is building the software and technology to make these vehicles autonomous.
