Relish, a Westchester, NY-based relationship training app for romantic relationships, completed a $5M Series A financing.
The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from previous investors, Trinity Ventures and Bullpen Capital. In addition to the raise, Rob Stavis, Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, will join Relish’s board of directors.
The company, which brought total funding to $7.2m, intends to accelerate its growth plans.
Founded by serial tech entrepreneur and co-founder of FanDuel, Lesley Eccles, Relish teaches active mindfulness, relationship skills, and with interactive quizzes, it helps users learn new insights into themselves and their partners.
Launched in the U.S. September 2019, the company combines machine learning and human intervention to create customized lesson plans to improve particular relationship.
Relish is currently available on both iOS and Android to users in both the United States and the United Kingdom and will be rolling out internationally later this year. It’s free to download with the premium version costing $39.99 per month or $99.99 per year with a 7 day free trial.
