Raquelle Zuzarte

Kellify, a Genoa, Italy-based global science-company that creates and incubates high potential businesses where visual images play a relevant role, is now live in the US, and has appointed Raquelle Zuzarte, former Senior Marketer at Johnson & Johnson, P&G, and Washington Post, to the Board of Directors of the new US company, and to the Advisory Board of Gradient, its D&I-focused spin-off.

Kellify has recently been selected as the #1 scaleup in Italy and one of the Europe’s 100 hottest young scaleups of 2021 by TNW, a Financial Times-backed media company. This scale-up is designing the future of image recognition to make advertisements and ads more effective, to identify trends in artworks, to automate the valuation of real estate and to recognize the inclusivity of visual communication. By launching its computer vision-based apps and services in the United States, Kellify wants to conquer the market by leveraging the power of Gradient, the first AI platform to shine a light on visual communication from a diversity and inclusion (D&I) perspective.

“Raquelle Zuzarte has played a pivotal role in global organizations driving brand growth as well as social impact through diversity, equity and inclusion as a global marketing leader and ESG champion. We are thrilled to have her join our Board of Directors of our new US company at an urgent time of change in our industry, where belonging and inclusion are crucial for success” said Francesco Magagnini, CEO at Kellify.

Zuzarte is also Founder & CMO at Equity Project For All, a strategic consultancy focused on maximizing growth by building great brands and empowering human capital through purpose. Prior to joining Kellify and Gradient, Raquelle Zuzarte, served as the Vice President of Marketing at the Washington Post where she and her teams led a number of brand-building and diversity campaigns, partnering with Unilever’s United for America platform and working with the Ad Council on research that highlighted COVID’s impact on consumer behavior, particularly on multicultural audiences. As an award-winning global marketing and media leader, Zuzarte has also led successful brand campaigns at Accenture, Charter Communications, Time Warner Cable and CBS. At J&J, she led the global launch of a $1B key therapeutic solution across the G7 markets.

Zuzarte has worked across markets in Europe, Asia, Australia, the Middle East and the US and is the host of #TheStorytellingRevolution, featuring global media and marketing leaders. Zuzarte has also spearheaded key leadership initiatives throughout her career, including as Board Member of the Procter & Gamble Global Alumni Network New York, and as a member of J&J’s Global Marketing Innovation Council.  She earned her Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Sydney and MBA from Australian Graduate School of Management UNSW and Kellogg Business School (joint program).

“I am thrilled to be part of the Kellify and Gradient Board of Directors and contribute to driving true representation and inclusion in storytelling across advertising, programming and cross-platform content, working closely with such an accomplished and impressive group of entrepreneurs, scientists and digital enablers,” said Raquelle Zuzarte. “CMOs are looking to new exciting technologies like Gradient to help them achieve both their profitable growth and diversity objectives, while delighting consumers who are more demanding than ever”.
