Genesis Invest AG announced its decision to apply for admittance to the Entry Standard, the Deutsche Börse segment within the Open Market that provides an alternative to the Regulated Market as an access point to the capital market.
In particular, the Entry Standard offers a tailor-made access to the capital market for new and established SMEs seeking to raise capital and become more competitive. Private-equity and venture capital investors can use it as an exit channel.
According to a company’s statement, Genesis is currently preparing the required stock-exchange prospectus and expects to fulfill the conditions for admittance within three to six months at the latest.
Wolfgang Goese, Managing Director of Genesis Invest was reported as saying: “The aim of gaining admittance to the Entry Standard is to offer our shareholders even greater transparency. Furthermore, we’re fulfilling the preconditions for raising further capital throughout the EU”
Zurich-based Genesis Invest provides services for the management of international licenses and the sale of new, innovative technologies for local water treatment and the supply of drinking water, the production and supply of renewable energies, and ecological products and processes.
