Bessemer Venture Partners invested $15m in Newport Beach, Ca.-based United Capital Financial Partners, Inc., a national network of financial services practices that provides centralized back office operations, customized advice and investment management services.
United Capital Financial Partners, which is acquiring advisory firms around the USA, will use the capital to expand its business into 4/6 new cities over the next 18 months.
To date, United Capital has completed 23 acquisitions.
Bessemer Venture Partners, today, from its offices in New York, Silicon Valley, Boston, Beijing, Mumbai and Herzliya, manages more than $2bn of venture capital invested in over 130 startups around the world.
