IPWireless, a provider of 3GPP technology for new applications and markets, has secured $15.5m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Spark Capital.
The funds will be used to accelerate sales of its 3GPP based mobile broadband and broadcast solutions into both the government and commercial markets.
IPWireless, which provides 3GPP solutions, including chipsets, devices, and complete network solutions, is headquartered in San Francisco, California, and operates a technology development center in Chippenham, UK.
