Kazakhstan, EBRD Agrees $50M credit line to Bank CenterCredit (BCC) to Support MSMEs

-

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) agreed a $50m credit line to Kazakh Bank CenterCredit (BCC) to support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Following a similar loan to BCC in 2008, the new credit line will be used to finance the operations of businesses in the country with loans of up to $500,000.
The credit line will focus especially on companies operating outside of Almaty and Astana, the financial and the administrative capitals of Kazakhstan, respectively.
BCC, one of the first privatised banks in Kazakhstan, is the fifth largest financial institution in the country, with a nationwide network and a strong focus on MSME financing.
