A new £5m funding to help London small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) succeed in overseas markets is available.
The support, which will be provided by the London Development Agency (LDA) through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), aims to help at least 400 companies achieve significant sales in new markets, as well as create 20 new successful international joint ventures and 270 jobs.
The funding will provide SMEs with one-to-one support from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) London International Trade advisers, the possibility to participate in over 30 trade missions run by UKTI and Greater London Enterprises (GLE) as well as to exhibit at major trade shows overseas and at UK exhibitions with an international focus.
In additon, over 200 events and workshops on subjects from export basics, to international joint ventures, and internationalising Intellectual Property will be organised.
