EcoFactor, a Redwood City, CA-based provider of a residential energy management solution, has closed a $2.4m financing led by Claremont Creek Ventures.
The funds will enable the company to accelerate commercial deployment of its SaaS-based service that works with twoway communicating thermostats and a broadband Internet connection to develop a dynamic, customized heating and cooling strategy.
According to the company, this solution has proven that it can save homeowners an average of 20-30% on their Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) energy spend without loss of comfort or control.
In conjunction with the financing round, Nat Goldhaber, Managing Director of Claremont Creek Ventures, has joined EcoFactor’s Board of Directors.
