Cardagin Networks, Inc., a Charlottesville, VA-based developer of a proprietary mobile marketing platform, has raised $1m in Series A financing.
Participants in the round include private investors and angels in Charlottesville, VA, Washington, DC, Atlanta, GA, and Nashville, TN.
The company’s mobile platform, which will be launched this spring, digitizes the loyalty card programs of local businesses and gives them tools to create, publish and push mobile advertisements directly to members of their loyalty programs.
In this way, consumers are able to conveniently manage their loyalty cards directly from their mobile phones, as well as track visits and redeem coupons and promotions from the local businesses that they support.
