Hunch, a New York City-based recommendation engine, has closed a $12m Series B funding led by Khosla Ventures.
In conjunction with the round, Gideon Yu, partner at Khosla Ventures, will join the company’s board of directors.
Hunch, whose engine helps consumers face on-line decisions on what to buy or what action to take on thousands of topics, will use the funds to continue to add new features and develop its system.
This latest financing brings the total amount the company has raised to date to $19.2m.
