PowerReviews, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of customer reviews and social commerce solutions for retailers and brands, has secured $6.1m in additional financing led by current investors Menlo Ventures and Tenaya Capital.
The funding will allow the company to continue to acquire customers and develop new products and hire new professionals.
PowerReviews serves over 850 retailers and brands on over 2700 websites, including Staples, Drugstore.com, Walgreens, Diapers.com, Callaway and Jockey.
In addition to its Enterprise solution, the company offers an on-demand solution for small- and medium-sized businesses called PowerReviews Express.
PowerReviews also operates the leading reviews and recommendation site for consumers, Buzzillions.com.
The company also operates an European office in London, UK.
