SpaceClaim Corporation, a Concord, MA-based provider of the innovative 3D Direct Modeling solutions, has secured an additional $5m in funding from current investors.
Investors in the round include Borealis Ventures, Kodiak Venture Partners, Needham Capital Partners, and North Bridge Venture Partners.
The new funding will support expansion of global sales and support as the company continues to win new customers and expand partnerships. Customers include Nokia Siemens Networks, BorgWarner, Medtronic, Lotus Cars, Sharp, K2 Medical Systems, FuelCell Energy, Emhart Glass, GE Aviation, General Dynamics, and the U.S. Navy.
SpaceClaim’s 3D Direct Modeling solutions are being leveraged for concept modeling, model preparation, and CAE across diverse industries including automotive, aerospace, defense, medical devices, consumer goods and educational engineering institutions.
